Day 10

Walking almost totally upright today! Yeah!! I was getting so
frustrated the past few days. I thought either I'm a total wuss and
was failing to push myself enough to walk upright or was worrying that
maybe they did too tight a job and I might never walk normal again!!
So I called my doc for the nth time in 10 days and asked what the deal
was with me. The nurse told me that I was doing fine and that I had
had a LOT more work done on me than with a normal tummy tuck. She said
that they put in mesh MAYBE 2 or 3 times a YEAR! And I have over THREE
HUNDRED stitches! Holy crap! So, my progress will be slower than a
normal abdominoplasty. After hearing all that, I'm totally ok with
where I am 10 days out of surgery.
